Industrial waste water treatment in Bangalore

Industrial waste water treatment in Bangalore is performed by using chemicals to degrade the organic contaminants and heavy metals present in the water, thus making it usable. There are two types of chemical treatment methods used in industrial waste water treatment – activated sludge process and fixed film process. The activated sludge process uses micro-organisms to breakdown pollutants.
These micro-organisms break down organic compounds and heavy metals and are then removed along with the contaminants from the water. In the fixed film process, the filter media is coated with chemicals which degrade the pollutants in the water. In this process, the solid wastes generated by the biological degradation of contaminants are retained on the filter media and are removed with the treated water.
